I See You | I Listen to You

I desire to know your personal story. I listen patiently and attentively to provide you with an experience that allows you to feel seen and heard.

We all crave authenticity, yet we often hide behind a mask of what we think society and others want us to be because we fear rejection. My authenticity creates a safe, non-judgmental, and warm environment, which allows you to BE YOU without a mask.

A Mirror of Truth

As a mirror of truth, I will lovingly point out difficult truths that resonate with you in a big way. Identifying the hard truths helps you become more honest with yourself and comfortable in your own skin.

 I like to ask questions

I ask questions that freely allow you to search yourself, gently let down your protective guard, and create a deeper level of self-awareness. Questions that often make people stop and say, “I never looked at it that way before.”

I welcome laughter in the therapy; it brings an element of genuineness because we all like to laugh. Laughter is an important part of life and very healing.

I recognize that while I am expert in my field, I do not know you better than you. Therefore, therapy will be a collaborative approach where we will decide on your goals together.  I will meet you where you are , giving you the space and choice to change when you are ready.

Therapy is a journey of highs and lows. Sometimes you will have to ride the wave until it smoothes out. However, you are not alone and I am riding the wave with you. My clients often say they can hear my voice at times throughout their day or ask themselves the "question what would Bianca say?"

I am not afraid to confront issues head on. I am direct, but open in my approach. I am interactive in the therapy if you would like a therapist that only sits and listens, I may not be the therapist for you.

I am not supposed to and do not intend to stay with you for the rest of your life. My role is to talk myself out of a job. Therefore, I will empower and encourage you to move forward into your purpose, equipping you with the skills, tools, and resources you can utilize immediately and for the rest of your life.

I want to help people become all God has created them to be. I believe we all have a unique purpose that is sometimes buried under layers of shame, anger, anxiety, regret, fear, failure, inadequacy, discouragement, hurt, and resentment, amongst other things. My goal is to help you peel back the layers to discover the treasure within you, authentically be you, and live a purpose-driven life.

It’s a beautiful gift to see my clients choosing courageous steps to set themselves free by being vulnerable to share their stories of shame and express their personal truth. As a result, my clients begin to accept themselves right where they are, despite their imperfections.

You may have noticed references to God on this page. I consider myself a Therapist who is Christian rather than a Christian Counselor. I will be respectful of your spiritual or non-spiritual life. I became a Christian in my late twenties, so I know it is uncomfortable and frustrating to have religion forced upon you. Therefore, I will not force my religion upon you. I will respect your belief or non-belief system and incorporate them how you desire

Integrating Christianity

However, if you are Christian I have been trained to integrate Christianity into therapy. Upon your request, I am happy to integrate Christianity into your therapy sessions, to ensure you have faith based counseling that is adequate for your needs and desires.

I completed a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. I am an  Associate Professional Counselor and practice at Jordan Stones Counseling Center in Roswell, GA under the direction and supervision of Mandi Peek and supervision of Dr Keny Felix.
